Mattern's Floral and Furnishings is committed to having the smallest possible carbon footprint that we can. Everyday we make a conscious effort to do our part for the well being of our precious earth. Whenever possible, we purchase our fresh flowers from growers who have achieved certification to insure their flowers are eco friendly. These certifications include Florverde, USDA Organic, Fair Trade Certified, Sierra Eco, and La Flor de Ecuador. Daily, we plan our deliveries in a way that will keep our total amount of miles driven to an absolute minimum. We have recently started to introduce the use of LED lights throughout our property which use a considerably less amount of energy than regular bulbs. |
